Student Ambassador talks
Student Ambassador talks
Throughout the year, as part of our Social Sciences Student Ambassador Talks programme, we send current undergraduate students to schools and colleges across the North of England to talk about their experiences during their time at Leeds and their journey to Higher Education. These talks are designed to inspire your students to study a social science and understand the benefits that it brings! The talks will also provide an insight into student life, the ambassador's journey to university and potential careers open to a social sciences student.
We offer Student Ambassador Talks both in person and online in the following subject areas:
- Business
- Education
- Environment
- Geography
- Geosciences
- Law
- Politics
- Sociology
- Sustainability
The Social Sciences Student Ambassador Talks programme is free of charge to schools and colleges requesting a talk. Talks are flexible and can last between 30 minutes (such as an assembly) to 1 hour (such as an interactive classroom session) and can be booked for a minimum of 15 students. Please be aware that due to a limited budget we can only deliver live in school workshops to schools which are within two hours of the university by public transport.
Please note that availability is limited during the summer. You can use this link to request a talk in your school.
Please read the Educational Engagement privacy notice.
